The South-West of England enjoys the best climate in the UK. It is partly for this reason that the South-West is so popular with visitors, both from other parts of the UK and from abroad. Visitors are also attracted by some of the most beautiful scenery in the UK: wild national parks, dramatic coastlines and beautiful beaches, traditional villages with gorgeous thatched cottages - there is plenty to see and do if you like outdoor activities and sports.

The South-West is also home to large (but safe) cities with many cultural activities and interests. Exeter and Plymouth are two of these and are both only a short drive from Torquay. The lower cost of living in this regional area means that you will be able to do more things with your money, and of course, we are only a short train ride from London (3 hours) if you want to spend some time in the 'smoke'!
